Playing with the "Guys"
Mardi Gras has come early!
Last week I was cleaning out some boxes and Andrew spied some Mardi Gras beads Grandma Debbie gave us. You should have seen the sparkle in his eye when he got a hold of those!!!! He hasn't stopped playing with them since. He wears them, gives them a ride in his wagon and truck, pours them in and out of buckets, he's even tried dressing the dogs in them! Thankfully for the dogs he has not been successful in cornering them (yet)!

Megablocks Man
After a wild afternoon of running around and terrorizing the house, the dogs and me, we finally got Andrew to sit down and play for a few minutes with his new blocks. We were amazed when a few minutes turned into 30 and he was still at the same task--buiding a tower. Marc and I loved sitting back and watching him. He had such concentration he didn't let out a peep the whole time he was working. That never happens!!!

A budding artist
A monster has been created...
Everyone in our house has been sick to some degree over the past week. For a couple of days Andrew was just miserable so we let him settle into his bean bag chair and watch a little Bob the Builder while snuggled up with his blanket. Sounds like a good idea right??
A monster has been created. From the time we wake up to the time we go to bed all we here is "a Bah, a De De". For those of you that don't speak Andrew the translation would be: "A Bob on TV". All day and all night that's all we here. The minute he gets to the family room he drags his bean bag over in front of the TV, settles in and starts asking for "a de de, a de de", and watch out when he finds the remote. Then he thinks he really has power!!
